  Code of Conduct I, (Name printed)______________________________ , hereby certify that while in the course of my activities as a Pedicab operator, will abide by the following rules and procedures: 1) Comply at all times with the mandatory laws and regulations that apply to me as either driver, independent operator, and/or fleet owner accordingly, as established in the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, the New York Department of Consumer Affairs, and the New York City Bicycle Law. 2) Ensure the safety of my passengers, other vehicle operators and myself, and take all necessary measures to avoid accidents by operating in a professional manner, and by not causing any incidents that may damage our industry's reputation. 3) Perform regular safety checks of my operated pedicab to ensure that all mechanical parts and mandatory standards of operation, such as brakes and lighting, are adequately met. 4) Be at all times courteous and considerate to passengers, pedestrians, authorities, and other vehicle operators. 5) Carry my pedicab driver license in a visible place at all times while driving my pedicab. 6) Agree with passengers upon the fare rate prior to embarking on a journey. 7) Respect the established protocols when participating in the PWA's meetings and honor whatever commitments I may have agreed upon with the association.
